Meet Hansen’s Leadership Team
Chief Executive Officer
Andrew is the Chief Executive Officer of Hansen Technologies and serves on the Board as Managing Director. Since being appointed CEO in 1993, Andrew has transformed Hansen’s strategy to become a leading global billing & customer care and data management provider in over 80 countries. Under his leadership, the company was listed on the ASX in 2000. Day-to-day Andrew leads the strategic direction of the business with over 1000 industry experts delivering solutions to some of the globe’s leading companies.
Chief Operating Officer
Cameron, Hansen’s COO, joined the organization in 1987. He manages operations across Hansen’s business units and has played a major role in the global growth of the company across the software and IT outsourcing business units.
Chief Financial Officer
Graeme Taylor comes to Hansen with over 30 years’ experience in both Operations and Finance. With a Finance Degree and post graduate qualifications, Graeme has earned the title of CPA. He has worked throughout the Oceania Region, USA and Europe and has significant experience developing International reporting and management systems. His strong commercial knowledge brings a unique approach to his role as CFO.
Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer
Niv was appointed as Chief Strategy Officer in 2014, and his role was expanded to include commercial activities in 2015. His responsibilities include managing the development and execution of Hansen’s growth strategy, which includes merger and acquisition transactions, and oversight of Hansen’s commercial matters. Niv has extensive global experience in strategy, corporate finance and law, and was part of the investment banking team that helped with Hansen Technologies’ Initial Public Offering. He returns to Hansen after working in Asia in a senior strategy and business development role with a financial services MNC.
General Counsel and Company Secretary
Julia joined Hansen Technologies in 2007 and plays a strategic role as General Counsel as well as Company Secretary. Julia has significant legal experience in IT, financial services and retail organizations. As General Counsel, she is responsible for all legal aspects of Hansen’s global operations and as Company Secretary Julia is also responsible for the Company’s corporate and ASX compliance obligations.
Global Partner Leader
John joined Hansen in 2016 with more than 30 years of experience in the IT sector in Australia and Asia Pacific. John is responsible for the company’s worldwide development and leadership of Hansen’s partnerships.
Client Services and Delivery
With more than 30 years at Hansen, Darren oversees the technical and architectural direction of the organization’s software solutions. He has a long history delivering customer care and billing solutions and has a programming background in multiple languages and operating systems. Prior to joining Hansen, Darren managed large development and project delivery teams for organizations such as Telstra and Worldcom.
John, CEO of Hansen’s EMEA region, joined Hansen in 2000. He has over 25 years of leadership experience in a variety of industries and geographic markets, including managing large IT implementations. Prior to Hansen, John served as the CEO of Baseball Australia, held franchising responsibilities for Jardine Matheson in Australia, Canada and South East Asia and served as the CEO for Australia’s highest profile football club.
Scott is Chief Information Security Officer of Hansen. Scott joined Hansen in 2007 as European Director bringing over 20 years’ experience in the Telecoms, Utilities and Pay-TV industry. Previously, Scott held several senior roles at NTL (now Virgin Media), BBC and Scantrack Healthcare Systems with a focus on project delivery, leadership and operational efficiency.
President Latin America
Giovani re-joined Hansen in August 2015 as President of Latin America. He brings over 20 years of experience in the IT, Satellite, Broadcast, PayTV and telecommunications industries and holds an MBA from FGV Brazil, executive education in Digital Marketing and Social Media Analytics from MIT – Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a degree in Marketing and Business from Kellogg University USA. Giovani’s previous positions include, CEO for Dapx Brazil, VP of Latin American Sales for Hansen Technologies, and Country Manager for Irdeto’s Latin American and Caribbean markets.
General Manager Asia
With over 30 years of IT industry experience, Mark is responsible for Hansen’s global consulting and service offerings as well the company’s solutions and services relationships for the Asia region. He has managed, delivered and maintained enterprise software solutions for global customers and provided consultancy and solutions to the utility and Telco industries. Prior to joining Hansen, Mark managed technical and development teams for several international organizations.
General Manager Australia & New Zealand
David was appointed to General Manager of Australia and New Zealand in 2015. He joined Hansen Technologies in 2009 bringing years of expertise as a Programme Manager and IT consulting specialist with a deep understanding of client, people, project, and financial management. David is responsible for Hansen’s clients, sales, and solutions in the regions.
President, North America
John Baksa was appointed President North America in January 2018. Previously, he was the General Manager of Hansen’s Nirvanasoft and Solutions product lines and a key member of the Hansen Regional Executive team involved in the integration and execution of Hansen’s North America Nirvanasoft, Banner, and Solutions businesses.
Prior to Hansen, John enjoyed a successful career in deregulated energy and utilities Operations and Software Development roles, most recently at Direct Energy Business, where he held executive roles including Director of Billing Operations and Business Unit CIO.
